Feb. 12: I&M Canal Y.A.C.H.T. Club (Young Adult Catholics Hanging Together), Aurelio’s Pizzeria, 11329 West 143rd Street in Orland Park. Fr. Bob Rohrich will present: “How Do You Know If You Are Really in Love.” Join us on the 2nd Tuesday of every month. Cost is $5 admission plus whatever you order off the menu. Time: Arrive at 7:00 pm, Speaker at 7:30 pm, Discussion at 8:30 pm.

Feb. 13: Fr. Cusick, and Dr. Kate DeVries are co-hosting “The Light Show,” our radio broadcast. It will be an hour of prayer, preaching and music from 9-10 am. Tune your radio to AM 950.

Feb. 17, 24, March 2: St. Teresa of Avila on 1033 W. Armitage Ave. is hosting a Soup and Substance series. Mass is at 6 pm, followed by a different talk each night.

Feb 21: The Ravenswood Catholic YAs present: Why Lent? A Guide To Participating in the Traditions of the Lenten Season, 7–9 PM, St. Matthias, Erz Hall, 2310 W. Ainslie Str, Chicago.

Feb. 24: YACHT Club NW, Schaumburg, presents Fr. Frank Hannigan, “Insights on Marriage: Why so Many Want It and so Many Fail at It.”. Champp's Americana, 955 E. Golf Rd., Schaumburg, IL (just west of Woodfield Mall, across from Best Buy). 6 pm gathering, 6:30 pm dinner, 7:30 pm presentation. $5.00 plus the cost of dinner and drinks. Feb. 25 & 26 Parish Mission at St. Mary of the Woods, (all ages) 7033 N. Moselle Ave. at 7:30 pm. Presenting Monsignor Kennett Velo, “Finding God in Difficult Times.” For more information please call 773-763-0206. There will also be prayer opportunities on Friday evenings during Lent, starting at 7pm in the Church.

Also, St. Mary of the Woods is calling for speakers and actors of all ages! They are putting together a passion drama with music for the Palm Sunday services. Actors of all ages are needed! FAROS: St. Edna Church in Arlington Heights will be doing a Lenten discussion series taking different players in the passion and discussion their role, perspective, impact, etc. We will meet weekly at the Teen Center on Tuesdays at 7:30 pm at 2525 N.
