Meet & Greet / Mix & Match
Are you worried about coming to FOCUS alone? Don't be! This workshop
will give you the opportunity to get to know other conference
participants. Join Karen and Chuck for some fun activities that
will provide a memorable beginning to a fabulous day!
Dr. Karen O'Donnell
holds a Doctor of Dental Surgery from the U of I, and is in private
practice in Homewood, Illinois. She performs with ComedySportz,
sings in the Old St. Patrick's choir, and serves in a leadership
role for an international personal development company.
Mr. Chuck Schultz
is a personal development life coach, motivator and trainer with
experience in guiding individuals and groups. He is an entrepreneur
and currently runs Dragon Dynamics. In addition, he is a trainer
for Tony Robbins' Mastery University program.

Ms. Leilani Shapley, M.S.,
is a psychotherapist in Oak Brook. With a master's degree in counseling
psychology, she specializes in relationships, coping with stress,
anxiety, depression, and dealing with trauma. She holds workshops,
retreats, and teaches college level psychology.

Getting Close to the Fire
Like a fire, relationships offer warmth, light, protection, energy
and Life. Also, like a fire, they frighten, consume, burn and
destroy. Having been burned, we often err on the side of keeping
a safe distance. Join us to get close to the relationship fire.
Dr. Terry Nelson-Johnson
is the Director of Faith Formation at Old St. Patrick's Church.
Previously, he worked at Loyola Academy where he directed retreats,
coordinated the service program, and taught social justice. He
holds a Doctor of Ministry degree from St. Mary of the Lake.

Pray All-Ways
Is your prayer life in a rut? Last year's FOCUS keynoter, Michael
will help open your heart to a richer communication with God.
Michael will explore techniques and practical styles of prayer
that illustrate how we can take the ordinary experiences of our
lives to God.
Fr. Michael Sparough, SJ
is a retreat master, storyteller, actor, director, writer, and
spiritual leader. He is the Director of Charis Ministries, the
Ignatian spirituality for young adults. He holds a MFA from Yale,
and a Doctor of Ministry degree from St. Mary of the Lake.
