He attended London King’s College for British Politics & Public Policy, and has a MA from DePaul in Medical Anthropology/Public Policy.

She volunteers with the Metropolitan Tenants Organization, the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, and the Women’s Empowerment Coordinating Committee.
