Mr. Jeremy Langford is co-editor of Cardinal Bernardins
The Journey to Peace (Doubleday, 2001). He is editor-in-chief
of Sheed & Ward publishing company, and earning a Masters
degree in theology at Catholic Theological Union.
Fr. Patrick Marshall is chaplain at the University of Illinois,
Chicago and holds a certificate in Addictions Counseling from
Grant Hospital. Formerly, he was associate pastor at St. Christopher
parish in Midlothian and at Queen of Martyrs parish on the southwest
side of Chicago.
Ms. Desiree Maurer is a single mother, and formerly homeless.
She volunteers with the Metropolitan Tenants Organization, the
Chicago Coalition for the Homeless, and the Womens Empowerment
Coordinating Committee, and holds a bachelors from DePaul.
Dr. Jim McDonnell holds an M.D. from Northwestern. He is
on the faculty of the Loyola Medical School where he specializes
in pediatric ophthamology. He is artistic director of Chicago
Comedy Sportz and has been working in improvisational theater
for 10 years.
Rev. Mark McIntosh is an Episcopal Priest, and professor
of theology at Loyola University of Chicago.
Fr. Bob Miller joined the Chicago Archdiocese in 1995 after
20 years as a Redemptorist. He preaches missions and retreats
nationally, celebrates healing and charismatic masses, teaches,
and is an author. He is co-pastor at Holy Angels Church.
Mr. Lou Nanni is executive assistant to the president of
the University of Notre Dame. Previously, Lou served as executive
director of the Center for the Homeless in South Bend, IN. He
graduated from Notre Dame in 1984, and spent 2 years as a lay
missioner working in a Santiago, Chile.
Fr. Thomas Nairn, O.F.M., Ph.D. is a Franciscan Priest,
an Associate Professor of Christian Ethics at Catholic Theological
Union and Director of its Health Care Mission Leadership Program.
He received his Ph.D. from the Divinity School of the University
of Chicago.
Dr. Terry Nelson-Johnson, who was on the faculty of Loyola
Academy for 14 years, is currently on staff at Old St. Patricks
Church as director of community formation. He holds a doctor of
ministry degree from St. Mary of the Lake University.
Fr. Paul Novak, O.S.M., was ordained a Servite priest in
1990. He was associate pastor at St. Domitilla in Hillside, and
currently assists at Old St. Patricks Church. He has done
vocation ministry for his religious order, and is presently on
the faculty of De LaSalle Institute.

Dr. Michael OKeeffe
holds a masters degree in theology from St. Johns
University in Collegeville, MA., a master of education degree
from the University of Idaho, and a doctorate from Notre Dame
in systematic theology. He is currently teaching Catholic Studies
at Saint Xavier University.
Fr. William O'Shea is currently pastor at St. Margaret
Mary Parish in Naperville. He taught scripture and ethics at Rosary
College and grew up in St. Philip Neri parish in Chicago.
Fr. Edward Panek, who was ordained in 1991, is the dean
of formation and a member of the religion department at Quigley
Seminary. He holds a master of divinity degree as well as a bachelors
degree in psychology. He served as associate pastor of St. Monica
parish for 6 years.
Mr. Tom Quinlan is a graduate of DePaul University. He
received a master of divinity degree from St. Mary of the Lake
University. He has taught in Catholic high schools and served
as director of religious education at St. Herbert. He is on staff
at the Archdiocesan Office for Catechesis.
Ms. Elsie Radtke is an associate director and coordinator
for Separated and Divorce Ministry for the Family Ministries Office
of the Archdiocese of Chicago. She has a Masters degree
in Education, is a licensed parent educator, and acts as a field
advocate for the Tribunal Office.
Fr. Robert Rohrich, C.M., is a full-time marriage/family
therapist, has been a teacher of Christian morality and sexuality
for over 25 years, and is involved in parish missions. In the
Chicago Archdiocese he works with the engaged, married, separated,
and divorced.
Ms. Kristin Sadie is a Pastoral Associate and director
of Young Adult Ministry at Holy Name Cathedral. She worked with
the homeless in Portland, OR and taught high school math and theology
in Montgomery, AL before receiving a Master of Divinity from the
University of Notre Dame.
Ms. Leilani Shapley, M.S., is a psychotherapist in Oak Brook.
With a masters degree in counseling psychology, she specializes
in relationships, coping with stress, anxiety, depression, and
dealing with trauma. She holds workshops and retreats, and has
taught psychology at the college level.
Dr. John Shea, S.T.D. is the Advocate Health Care Senior
Scholar in Residence at the Park Ridge Center for the Study of
Health, Faith and Ethics. John is a Research Professor at the
Institute of Pastoral Studies, Loyola, and is the author of numerous
books and articles on theology and spirituality.
Mr. Steve Smith grew up Catholic, struggled with his faith,
then committed his life to Christ. After worshipping at Willow
Creek, Steve returned to his Catholic roots. On staff at Holy
Family Church in Inverness, he is building E.P.I.C., a "next
generation" worship community for young adults.

Fr. Michael Sparough, SJ,
is a retreat master, storyteller, actor, director, writer and
spiritual director. For 7 years, he ministered at the Bellarmine
Retreat House in Barrington. He holds a Master of Fine Arts from
the Yale and a Doctor of Ministry from St. Mary of the Lake in
Mundelein.
Fr. Thomas Swade was ordained in 1961, and founded Link
Unlimited, an inter-racial organization that invites business
men and women to sponsor African American high school and college
students. He is the director of workshops on racism and ethnic
sensitivity for the Archdiocese of Chicago.
Fr. David Turner, O.S.B., a Benedictine Monk of St. Procopius
Abbey, Lisle currently is assistant to the Provost for Mission
at Benedictine University. He holds degrees in philosophy, educational
psychology and theology/ministry.
Ms. Tracy VanMeter graduated with her Master of Divinity
from the University of Notre Dame. She is beginning work a Pastoral
Associate at St. Clement Church, she has experience as a teacher
in Catholic schools, and has worked extensively in ministry to
adults and college students.
Fr. Michael Wanda was ordained a priest for the Archdiocese
of Chicago in 1991, and is currently the associate pastor at St.
Louise de Marillac parish in LaGrange Park.
Ms. Vanessa White is the director of Augustus Tolton Pastoral
Ministry Program sponsored by Catholic Theological Union for African-American
Catholics. She formerly directed the LaSalle Manor Retreat Center
and was co-director of the Claretian Volunteer and Lay Missionary
Program.
