Volunteer Opportunity
With Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN) New City YMCA,
1515 N. Halsted Sunday, September 25
Kids Enjoy Exercise Now (KEEN) is a nonprofit, volunteer organization
that provides free one-to-one recreational opportunities for children
and young adults with mental and physical disabilities. At each
KEEN session, a participating athlete is paired with a volunteer
coach for a variety of age-appropriate recreational activities.
Orientation takes place at
1:15 p.m., and the volunteer session runs from 1:45 - 4:15 p.m.

Provides housing and meals for people living
with AIDS. Volunteers assist residents in daily living requirements
and participate in fundraising activities.

Volunteers are needed to read books, newspapers
and magazines to visually and physically impaired individuals, over
a special sub carrier radio signal.
