Parish Young Adult Groups and Activities
Often, young adults call looking for places near them where their
peers are gathering. Below is a list of the groups and activities
of which we are aware. Please call the contact people listed for
further information. Don't forget to check the website for updated
information, either. If you are hosting an event specifically for
women and men in their 20s and 30s that we can help you publicize
through our website, please email details to yam@yamchicago.org.
Thanks!

Catholicism in ways beyond Sunday Mass.
Share your enthusiasm, talents, and time. Strengthen and revitalize
your faith. Meet and serve one another and our neighbors. We focus
not only on social events, but also on spiritual and service opportunities.
Subscribe to the Young Adult Community listserv to find out more

Holy Name's Young Adult Ministry has an active community and offers
regular faith enrichment programs (Bible studies, courses on Catholicism
(and a Faith Forum for those in their mid-thirties to mid-forties).
Participants also meet for volleyball every Monday night and
for social activities with neighboring parishes (happy hours every
2nd Friday of the month, fall and spring softball leagues, etc.)
Finally, many are involved in occasional service activities (clothing
drives, serving meals for low-income or homeless individuals). People
pick and choose based on their interests, and the best way to find
out about events is through the weekly e-mail that updates people
on the latest news. Contact Kristin to be added to this distribution
